Now that the summer is here perhaps a spot of fishing for your supper is in order. Or a trip to the fishmonger for some nice fresh cuts?
Anything from estuary to the seashore and beyond. Extra points for catching it yourself.
Lets give it 2 weeks for presentation, the 19th is the deadline for entry. Considerting the way the burger comp was ruined by early entry

we should specify that the entries should only be posted on the 19th.I had mackerel and pouting on the BBQ last weekend after a fishing trip in Dorset.
In preparation, I filetted the pouting, and just took the heads off the mackerel (m-i-l hates them staring up at her when she eats them!). Then they were sprinkled first with salt, pepper, lemon juice, then grilled and served with new potatoes and salad.
From boat to plate in about 1 hr.
