So no alcoholic liquid would work?
Alcohol doesn't freeze until some ridiculously low temp. You could do it if you have access to liquid nitrogen.i mean by all means give it a go. what have you got to lose, other than a quid for a can of Carlsberg and 10 minutes of time to pour and pop in the freezer?
from seeing what happens to bottled beer when it freezes (solid + alcohol sitting on top) i would guess it wouldnt work. might be different for you though!

As far as I know the alchohol will not freeze.
What about if the can was on a small conveyor belt, with the circumference of the can in line with the direction of travel of the belt?Has it got wheels? How big is the can vs. conveyer belt?
Mythbusters..
I tried making a lager ice pop when I was at uni (many moons ago). Can of Harp in the freezer for a day or so, then cut the end off and thought I'd get a lager lolly. Wrong. I got a graduated frozen-ish slushy crap waste of a 95p can of rubbish lager. As a student I was devastated at the waste of a can of cheap lager.
I now look upon this as a message a) not to drink rubbish lager and b) that lager lollys would probably have been invented by a proper brewer if they were intended to feature on this earth.

- If you put pasta in a deep fat frier will it cook quicker than boiling it. Stupid.
- If you break an egg in a fat frier will it cook quicker than frying it. Run. Run really fast.
- Putting the fat frier in the cupboard for the rest of the year as it is downright dangerous and never getting clean after the egg episode.

Not really; boiling fat is about twice as hot as boiling water...Gassing Station | Food, Drink & Restaurants | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
