Can anyone suggest any drinking games with a military theme, specifically for a Top Gun themed night.

Best I've come up with are only being aloud to call people by their given 'callsign', and only aloud to answer to your 'callsign'.

Last person to react to one of 5 commands, such as About Turn, Attention, etc. must drink.

Any ideas appreciated, regardless of how ghey you think it all sounds.

I've yet to see it played, and the thought that it exists makes me want to puke.

A very tenuous link but a game that is played by the locals called Limey is. If you can get a lime (whole) in to someones drink with out them noticing they have to down their drink. They then take possession of the lime and repeat the process. If it is noticed that you are trying to put the lime into someones glass you have to down your own drink and hand over the lime to whoever spotted you

You can use any object for this game but it has to be big enough and heavy enough to sink in the glass that you wont choke on it when downing your drink. A lime or golf ball is about the right size. Most bars will give you a lime if they know that there is going to be a few drinks sold in exchange for the lime.

p.s This game does not work with bottles.

There's the 911 drinking games - 2 glasses of sambuca next to each other. Set one on fire first, then the second. You then race a mate to drink them, first one down wins. Or the pentagon equivalent, where you have 5 sambucas in a pentagon shape, with one corner on fire. Knock them all back in sequence, leaving the burning one til last.

Not so much a drinking game, but a military flying game to do when drunk - the Lancaster raids.

Arrange 4 chairs in a long row - these are your engine.
Arrange 4 chairs in a column down the middle of the row - front gunner, pilot and bomber, tail gunner.

Allocate people to each chair. The engines have to make appropriate noises as they fire up. give them a scenario where they start up, take off, fly to Germany, release bombs, fight enemy aircraft, go on fire, ditch etc etc. They have to make all of the noises. Everytime something goes on fire, throw a flour bomb at them and then soak them with a pint of water to replicate putting the fire out. There's loads more of 'extras' you can throw in with a bit of imagination.

Centurions:

Drink a shot glass full of beer at the rate of one a minute for 100 minutes. The first 50 are dead easy, the last 50 less so.
