The final bag of Brannigans Beef & Mustard was consumed today. I'm not placing a new order for now, as they are just too addictive - these are the potato equivalent of crack! Need to go cold turkey for a while but I'll probably have a relapse and get some more in a few weeks wink

These strip the lining off my mouth they're that strong! Remember Fright Bites from years ago were the same, that strong i'd get a tongue ulser if i ate them! Does anyone remember ghosties? What happened to them?

Crisps should be processed and fake.

- Orange Nik Naks
- Pickled Onion Monster Munch
- Red Doritos
- Chipsticks
- Brown French Fries

Where the colour is more appropriate than the flavour I have used it.

No! "Real crisps" are the work of the devil.

1. Pickled Onion Monster Munch
2. Tangy Toms
3. Original Wheat Crunchies
4. Salt And Vinegar Smiths' Square Crisps
5. Ltd Edition Wasabi Pringles - incredibly hot.

And slightly related, those peculiar fish and chip shaped fish and chip flavoured crisps? At school we used to buy them after we'd been swimming as the leisure centre had an outstanding selection of crisps and snacks.

M&S Beef and Onion, i wish they still did these, M&S crisps are not what they were.
Tomato Sauce Quavers.
Brannigans Lamb & Mint.
Bobby's Spirals are one of my faves at the minute.
Seabrook Pickled Onion or Worcester Sauce but you hardly ever see these, i often wonder why.
I am not a massive fan of Walkers but have to admit their S&V are still spot on.

A colleague has recently found a shop close to work which sells Cheese & Onion Ringos.

Not been to see if they also do the salt & vinegar but a trip is on the cards soon.
Don't bother. They'll be there but they're not what they used to be. :-(
I agree, they are still OK but not much crunch.

Anybody remember Piglets? Hollow pig-shaped crisps in bacon & bean flavour. They were my faves but I've not seen them for about 25 years!

Can you still get Phileas Fogg Red Hot Tortillas, they came in a black bag IIRC, last seen about 10 years ago, they were awesome!

Potato Puffs from the early 70s, and Seabrooks Cheese and Onion, although since swapping to more modern bags the flavour seems to have changed a tad

Golden Wonder cheese and onion used to be the business but they're not the same anymore, too thin as well

Not seem them mentioned but one of my favourites was Salt and Vinegar Twists. Yum.
Also I remember Tomato Crisps around the late 70's but can't remember the manufacturer. It was not Golden Wonder.
