Hi guys,

wondering if you can help me. I have been charged with the task of organising the dinner on the Friday night of a hen weekend.

The restaurant needs to be in central Oxford or Summertown and although I don't invisage budget being a problem, I don't know all those going so maybe some of the priciest establishments are out.

There will be 12 of us, but won't be a loud affair, as we are having a party on Saturday. Open to all cuisines...

Any help you can give will be appreciated.. I know Oxford well as I
went to uni there but haven't been back for 7 years so I imagine restaurants have changed a bit!

Many thanks

Lizzie

How about where old Orleans was. Nice new please now. Can't remember what it is though. Italian inspired, opposite Jamies!

Might get more responses if you give the thread a title - unless you are going for the mystery post angle.

Well, depends on the style of cuisine that you like, but I can recommend the Al-Shami if you'd like a Mezze, plus there is the Duke of Cambridge for warm up drinks.

Perhaps a thread title and some ideas of exactly what you are looking for would be of help to other PH'ers....
