I have been trying to find the line-up for this series.
I'm probably looking at the wrong website, but I cant find out.
I recognise some of them, but I like to IMDB them, that stops me from wondering 'where have I seen him/her before'.
Anyone? Thank you. confused

I've been letchingfollowing Lisa throughout this series and, thought her a worthy winner. Mind, it did seem close between Lisa and Dick - big chap with big flavours. Well done Lisa!

Lord knows how she won. When cooking desert for the Michelin starred chefs she had a professional chef finish for her because she was so disorganised, in one test Christine Hamilton helped her for the same reason. In the field test none of the Sealed Knot chaps were interested in her food and she's generally whinged and whined throughout the entire programme. If it's a genuine competition to see who is potentially a 'master chef' rather than a show to see who is the most pretty she would come nowhere near winning.

Pretty girls seem to have a habit of unexpectedly winning this show. She was a deserving enough finalist, but I thought Dick was brilliant. Christine is an odd one; she certainly gave it her all, but what happenned to the old battleaxe that she seemed to be in the past? Charm offensive, or just allowed to be herself now her hubby isn't in politics?

The winner for me was Neil Stuke. He should have stayed in but because he did a rather simple, yet delicious risotto, the buggers sent him packing.

He had a very good understanding of food and it would have been great to see him and Dick go head to head in the final.

Lisa was annoying to watch. Way too emotional and a little self-obsessed.

Dick's starter of shellfish broth with fish quinnells was superb.

We thought Dick was unlucky, although (not seen it all) I think some of the comments above about LF are excessive - yes she was an emotional mess at times, but she did come up with some inventive food.

Although factually correct that on more than one occasion she failed to complete the dish in time.

Dick knows food from start to finish. Liza knows it only from shops.

If Dick ever gets a Gastro pub or restaurant etc , I will be there !

He was amazing and thinking so "out of the Box"
Christine was a great and would be a good member of a team to have.

Google obviously doesn't work in Kindersley's house, as DS seems to have started offering dinner opportunities http://www.dickstrawbridge.com

This year Lisa Faulkener, last year Jayne Middlemiss, the year before Liz Mclarron. None of these IMHO were the best chefs, they were all the prettiest though. Methinks John and Gregg should judge on the food and not the looks?????

You have to say Dick is the ultimate PH and FDR man in the world ever.

He was in the Army
He won Scrapheap challenge with his brothers.
He decides to go farming and does that really well
He almost wins masterchef.

And he has the most outrageous under nose hair. biggrin

He is what England is all about. Top bloke.
