It seems we can't even trust the Scots with deep frying

I mean come on porridges! If ever there was something I would have thought you would have done first, but no, its the septics.
This is surely the only thing you lot have not fried?

Tell me, apart from pizza (which is really nice and not like you would imagine) and Mars bars (which was a fad in the 90s by kids. no one really eats them) what else do you find deep fried in Scotland that you don't in England. I can think of Black pudding, haggis and white pudding.
King rib, which seem to be a slab of chopped spicy pork in a large vaguely rib shape, deep fried. Rather tasty with brown sauce to be honest. Don't remember seeing them in England.Parsnip said:

Also around the Edinburgh are you get salt n sauce on your chips which is salt and watered/vinegared down chip shop brown sauce.
Which is bloody brilliant! Do you get cheese IN burger in England? Burger patte with squeezy cheese inside battered and deep fried. Making my mouth feel rank just thinking about it. You need to be proper steamboats to want one.

Which is bloody brilliant! I have never seen a deep fried mars bar to be honest, but deep fried pizzas are pretty common. Was gutted when living in London to find that fish and chip shops mainly sell fish and chips. My mate has a fish and chip shop here and fish makes up a third of his trade at most.
Do you get deep fried Scotch pies in England? They're nice.
