Also around the Edinburgh are you get salt n sauce on your chips which is salt and watered/vinegared down chip shop brown sauce.
Which is bloody brilliant! I have never seen a deep fried mars bar to be honest, but deep fried pizzas are pretty common. Was gutted when living in London to find that fish and chip shops mainly sell fish and chips. My mate has a fish and chip shop here and fish makes up a third of his trade at most.
Do you get deep fried Scotch pies in England? They're nice.
