Nothing truly dirty, i'm sort of on a diet, but treats/temptations must be had. Chicken breast pieces were superb- tasty and makes a change from horrid legs and what not. Heinz chili ketchup hit the spot too. All in all, not bad
My instincts tell me you're likely to be hungover this morning! Tell-tale signs are:

Time of post
Type of food
Independent takeaway open in early hours
Cans of pop and booze everywhere
Wild claims of being on a diet after posting a pic of fried chicken and booze

Top work. clap

The order never took place as we had a large lunch. It was the culinary equivalent of going on bmw.co.uk and creating your ideally specced car.

Sad I know, but this food bug's got me bitten.

I am really craving a massive plate of filth right now.

I know this is the point of the thread, but the typical English idea of what a Chinese takeaway is, is totally disgusting. Basically slop in st sauce, with st meat. I hated Chinese food until I moved abroad.

ETA: Indian on the other hand... nothing beats a good Birmingham DIRTY ass curry.

I agree with your comments re: English Chinese slop. It was a treat as a child to have a "Chinky" on a Saturday night. My parents would order and I would eat, never questioning the battered low-grade reformed rubbish I was eating. But why would I?

It wasn't until I began to cook for myself with fresh, decent quality ingredients that I started to see it for what it really is. But as they say; a little bit of what you fancy does you no harm and at least I am under no illusions what the Chinese chefs cooking this crap are serving us.

The fact is, if a Chinese takeaway was to serve truly authentic, fresh food in the way they do over there, they'd be out of business and on a plane back home before you could say "egg foo yung"

Many people don't know what real food is and they are the ones that aren't ready for such a change. Sadly, they probably never will be!

Filth tonight. Large Big Mac Meal and a six McNuggets chaser with chilli and barbecue sauce. But then I was still hungry so I cooked some of my amazing maple cure American streaky bacon. It's like dog treats, for human beings!
