Just a small takeaway last night, mixed kebab with salad chilli sauce and ketchup. Some good eating.

While I'm a supporter of a bit of crunch in a kebab, there does seem to be an overly generous helping of green there. Were it not for a decent hint of sauce (and I'm going to ignore the ketchup faux pas), I'd say you would be in a bit of bovver in these parts biggrin.
It is an unfortunate angle to take the picture from, I can assure you that there was a high meet level underneath. And chilli and ketchup is the combination of kings!

Be very careful complaining and bullying free stuff out of takeaway places. Special added ingredients not unheard of.

The chips look like carrots, the kebab meat looks underdone & there's no chili sauce on the Rover.

My my how time flies. Pferdestarke started this infamous thread just over 2 years ago now. Since that fateful day we have seen all manner of horrors from various posters, with the CSV ranked as the worst dish so far. My first post on this thread was on page 2 and consisted of a picture of a parmo, well a half parmo to be precise.

Since that post I have uploaded a stupid number of pictures, and to celebrate the 2 year anniversary of this thread and my first post in it I decided to return to my roots and finally attempt a full parmo. As some of you may know the parmo is one eye boggling dish in terms of content and calories. A large parmo with chips and salad contains about 2600 calories and 150g of fat (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parmo#Nutritional_information)

The takeaway I have used before for my parmos have recently moved and revamped their menu. They now offer a variety of sauces on the parmos so I decided to have half mine with the standard bechamel and cheddar and have the other with a bit of pizza/tomato sauce as well.

I placed the order, and watched Chelsea beat Man U whilst my order was prepared. 45 mins later this was delivered to my doorstep -

FYI the container is a 11" pizza box. The full parmo was served as two halves. This was the plain one -

And this one was the one with pizza sauce -

After around 35-45 mins of casual eating, this is what was left. Grim, I know -

As you can see, the salad was left untouched as per usual and the grease, well that was just disgusting. Having finally conquered a full parmo I have now decided to hang up my boots and make a proper attempt at losing some sodding weight. I have enjoyed my time on this thread and will continue to catch up on it from time to time, but hopefully I won't be posting any pictures for a while. Keep up the good work chaps!

I tried to order a takeaway this evening at 00:25am...Domino's, all curry houses, all take-aways closed.

Sad faces and empty stomachs all round...

This is the only worthwhile topic on PistonHeads. Long live the Queen.
