Ok.

Nice and simple, but I don't think we have had it as an ingredient in either of the cooking comps.

Cook something using : Chicken.

No excuses!

Best part of two weeks available, so entries in weekend 19/20th March. Poll from Monday 21st to the end of Tuesday 22nd.

Cook something _using_ chicken? Now that's a challenge. I spose you could hold it by the body and flick its head around to stir stuff. Or perhaps with the giblets removed use it as a comedy oven mit. tongue out

Assuming I get my kitchen back in one piece I'll be going for this. Don't know what yet but might not be a "chicken as you know it" or it could be a load of sous-vide wings. Who knows?

I'm thinking about some serious Ferran Adria "wings". Having paid an arm/leg/kidney for one of his spec. books I want to make the most of it!

I'm going off the really complex ideas and might just go for something simple but presented differently.

That last result a little too close for comfort was it? scratchchin

I am joking obviously bow, I could not hope to match your dishes and look forward to see what you come up with.

I thought it was your choice of ingredient for the next competition as you won the last one?

The last one (my choice, chocolate) didn't really get off the ground and I didn't even get an entry in frown

Hopefully have a functioning kitchen again by tonight.

I have 3 ideas but can't decide which. Simple and tasty, complex and time consuming or photogenic and boring.

I reckon the former.

I'm in...

Only just startd enjoying cooking though and after seeing some of the dishes ou guys produce not sure mine will be a drop in the ocean.

Think roasted chicken breast with a risotto of some sort on the side.

We'll see what happens.

Just have a crack!

I'm going properly simple this week, after about 10 pans to wash after the Chocolate challenge!
