Sorry for the wait fellow competitors.

Cheese

-Make a dish incorporating cheese.

The only stipulation is that the cheese must be an integral part of the dish. So scattering grated cheddar over the top of a chilli or bolognaise, or just plonking a cheeseboard with crackers down won’t cut it. -People trying to crowbar a Ploughman’s into this competition will see a letter from the competition’s lawyer, yummy as it is.

So let the creative juices flow, souffle, cheesecake, blue cheese sauce, whatever. And when you visit your cheesemonger, note it is customary to ask him how long he’s been ‘monging’ cheese.

Normal rules apply, 3 photos max. And state what cheese you incorporated.

Closing date midnight Sunday 8th of May to give people 2 weekends.

Oooh. Now this is one I can get my teeth into! I have at least three or four ideas already, the difficulty will be choosing between them...

At last, a cooking competition I can do! I've read the rules three times and think this fits.

'Fromage sur le pain grillé avec sel de céleri et menthe'

(Cheese is cheddar btw).

Indeedy, lemon mint which grows rampant in my garden. Nothing to do with the dish, just a garnish for effect and a soupcon of colour. Oh, and to impress the judges! smile

Is the cheese 'integral' enough in this dish?

I know it's wrong but I really want to make and eat that!

-Yes.

Personally speaking, I may not vote for your dish however.

A friend of mine won't even have cheese on pizza, the weirdo.

I might have to pull my finger out and enter this one.

You could cook for someone who does like cheese.

To be honest im not a great fan of cheese, but that changes once its cooked.

-I wouldn't rule out voting for an authentic homemade pizza. Glistening and hot from the oven.

Deelish.

See photo of your dinner - at least 3 pizza on there.

Tonight was a pizza. Base made with a mix of whole grain and wholewheat flours topped with home grown tomato and herb sauce and tesco cheese

After adding a bit of chorizo and pepperoni it was ready to scoff

A glass of port with a bowl of ice cream finished off the meal. Final offering is a pint of tea from the kettle.
