Just returning from the O2 arena...

Unbelievable gig, including an appearance by Dave Gilmour and Nick Mason!

Gilmour appeared at the top of 'The Wall' and did the guitar solo and some vocals for "comfortably numb'".

By far the best concert I've ever been to!

What a way to finish my birthday!

Just WOW. What a spectacle. The opener set the scene with fireworks and the WW2 plane crashing in to the wall and bursting in to flames.

Have to say, from where me & Pods were sitting (middle floor next to the desk), I thought the roof was going to lift off when Gilmour got lit up on top of the wall. The roar was deafening!

A light show like I've never seen. Surround sound in an arena like I've not heard. Phenomenal. I'll be picking the bones for a good while yet.

Highly recommended.

Sadly for all, that wasn't the deal. Still, would be good if they did repeat it.

I saw The Wall first time round, Earls Court iirc (twas a very long time ago! 30 years-ish) and the whole surround sound thing was used back then.

If that is the reaction for Gilmour and Mason appearing for one song, think what the potential is for a full Pink Floyd tour?
They can't not get on that badly of they're prepared to show up at least.
Come on guys, one last time?
30 nights at the O2 easy!

Can you please give the link when you've uploaded it? There is one video I could find on YT so far of last nights appearance by Gilmour, and its only part of the song...

Was filmed on the iPhone 4 so quality is pretty good, i was in block B3 so visibly its square on to the stage but he is a little small, but you can tell its him - full song 7m 43sec smile

Ill upload it when i get home, god knows how big the file is but ill make sure it stays in 720

Quick picture for you, sorry about the dodgy 'watermarking' lol, i only have paint at work!

Although I did see and meet DG and Steve O'Rourke in Dublin in '84, on his Blue Light tour smile
