I was there on Thursday night and only just found out that it was the only night Dave and Nick were there. Major bonus!

Thanks for uploading that - it looked epic.

Pity Dave got the lyrics wrong though...

I was there on Thursday, awesome show, and when David Gilmour appeared it was almost enough to make a grown man cry!

There seemed to be some genuine affection between the two at the end, with Waters admitting that in the past he'd been a grumpy mixed up fker but was now much more mellow. If only they'd completely bury the hatchet and get together again...they're greater than the sum of their parts, and the reaction from the crowd must tell them that the music they make together is better than anything they make apart.

And I've booked tickets for Manchester too on Saturday, 5 rows from the front this time smile

Well I had tickets for the 12th, but due to the old man saying "yeah, book em, i'll be there" he is actually on holiday and not back until Wednesday.

We're both going on the 18th, but I'm truly gutted to have missed the opportunity to see the three of them together. mad

I am a Pink Floyd fan but can't really see the attraction of paying good money to see Roger Waters sing THE WALL.

I would probably go see a solo Gilmour show though, as I am a fan of his guitar work.

It's not just the singing and the guitar work though - the whole show with the visual effects and use of the wall as a backdrop is a spectacle.

... and the fact it is largely credited with being Waters' work.

They are but sadly one the parts is no longer with us and while Dave Gilmour's guitar work may stand out Rick Wrights keyboard work was just as instrumental in creating the unique sound of Pink Floyd. Without him it cannot be quite the same again.
