Brilliant! I saw them on the same tour at Leeds Town Hall on November 12th 1973. Still of my all time favourite gigs. By coincidence two friends I met in later life were there too!
I saw Steely Dan the following year at Leeds University and many years later at Haydock Park.

Today has been a mainly Reba day. Here she is having some fun performing with her daughter-in-law:

Mainly the new Taylor Swift and Pearl Jam albums today. Both rather good in my opinion.

Currently watching MTV 80s Headbangers Ball, and they’ve picked lots of fairly average stuff, but I do like a bit of The Cult…

Big Country - On The Shore

NO bagpipes here!!!
I always think of this as Big Country's 'Albatross' (Fleetwood Mac)

Today I am mainly writing a short paper on how to set up a brand new confidential data centre infrastructure (no, cloud is not suitable for this client).

So something suitable rousing is required to keep me awake:

Brilliant album - still gutted they cancelled their tour a couple of years ago. Saw them on the Album of the Year tour and they were...um....epic smile

Currently listen to Foster the People - Pumped up Kicks. Still the ultimate in terms of happy song/dark subject matter.

We've not had good weather so far this year so a summer theme on the way.
