An utterly fantastic cover of Glen Campbell's "Gentle on my Mind", by the talented and gorgeous Kimberley Perry and her brothers:

Some 'Off The Wall', and 'Thriller', era MJ here tonight. Sounds crazy, but I've never really listened to it properly on a good Hi-Fi before.
Excuse me for stating the bleeding obvious, but fk me, cranked right up it sounds absolutely amazing! Also not surprising, but fabulous production too!
I watched his autopsy thing on TV last night. A very sad tale, and it inspired me to pop it on. Glad I did, as I've re-discovered his music, which sounds a silly thing to say!
Love him or loathe him, he had some great tunes before he went all mental!

'Dig Your Own Hole' (album) by Chemical Brothers. Rediscovered amongst CD collection rummage last night.
Reminded me how good the video to 'Elektrobank' is/was:

Far better than the album version.
A nostalgic Christmas present in the form of an old Genesis CD 'Wind and Wuthering', I had it on cassette many years ago. Surprised how many of the words I remembered after all these years, though it is a bit of a rambling album really.
I came a bit more up to date afterwards with Lordes 'Pure Heroin' then followed by Sam Smith. I'd been doing some tweaking of the eq for my DIY subwoofers so I was hearing (and feeling) all sorts of bass parts I'd not noticed before...no wonder it took me so long to finish off a few work emails and expenses after work today.
