Isn't it a cracker! One of those tracks you just can't help but click along to. And, to mix things up a bit...

Just "Wow"

I must have heard The Doors and especially L A Woman like MILLIONS of times.....

I came onto this thread to post about something quite different - I may still do that - but The Doors.....! I mean they stay so fresh every time you listen! I actually closed my eyes and became John Densmore for a moment while I listened to that, and I have never been a drummer-fan in my entire life, but that sounds so so good....

Great call! robsco

So, what I came along to tell you all about was/is the late, and very great, Gerry Rafferty. Sure he was good with Joe Egan in Steelers Wheel, but .....whoa.....

If you haven't put a decent pair of cans on and immersed yourself in the brilliance that is "City to City", well .... shame on you, but just put on... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fo6aKnRnBxM ....and chill!....

He's gonna give up the booze and the one night stands.... Yeah - right! I feel like I'm drowning when the guitar sings out!

Oooooooooo Yes!!!

Have to look that out and test how nostalgic that is.

Meanwhile, a long train journey... Plenty of "train songs" out there, so I've headed for some Cream and something a bit clichéd. But on the way I have alighted on some late, but very Great, Jack Bruce-ery in Cream Live (2) and "Deserted Cities of the Heart" .... ( then "White Room"!)

Jimmy eat world - Bleed America. Worked out its 15 years old next year and I reckon I've listened to it more than once a month since new (once yesterday and once today for example) that makes at least 180 times that I've listened to it, and it's still my favourite album.
