Light Tunnels from Macklemore's new album This Unruly Mess I've Made. I have so much time for this guy and the way he's opened himself up to an avalanche of flack from all sides by marching headlong into the debate over cultural appropriation.
I also think he's one of the few guys who can make positive music with a message that actually somehow manages to sound cool as opposed to happy clappy cheese.

Wont be everyones taste, but reggae/dub best listened to with something capable of bass frequencies to truly appreciate.

...three overly cute, overly choreographed (yes, I saw them at Reading last year) Japanese teenaged girls who perform almost exclusively in their native language. My 18 year-old son has become obsessed with all things Japanese this past year - cartoons, art, music. I'm not necessarily saying they're bad either, but since he got back from their Wembley show this Saturday just gone, with a copy of the album in his sticky paw? Well lets just say that he's been listening to it on a loop through his laptop. And now I'm listening to them through YouTube to see what all the fuss is about. More fool me!
