Given Obama's comments regarding the UK and EU I've been playing this at full volume all morning hehe

It gave me goosebumps when I first heard it in 1986 - and still gives me goosebumps and a lump in the throat 30 years yikes later

I'm taking Little Ex over to the UK this summer just purely for him to see The Levellers. In my opinion one of the best live bands still going. If Prince had been playing there too, it would have been wonderful.

Been listening to the new Blancmange album, Commuter 23 a lot since it came out.

Absolutely nothing like their early work (which was excellent as well), this is real dark electronic music.....very highly recommended.

There was a post/thread a day or two back relating to relaxing ambient music, I think it was late night music or something, Digweed was mentioned as well as an album I subsequently found on Amazon for a tenner which I nearly purchased. I now can't find the relative post or thread and doesn't seem to be in Music!

Any ideas?
Ta smile

ETA - found the thread but can't work out the album I tracked down on Amazon grrr. . .

Janis Joplin's version of 'Me and Bobby McGee'. So, so good. Spine tingling stuff.

(The version with minimal accompaniment)
