Toto - Isolation (Remastered Edition)
My favourite Toto album but was also the worst sounding CD I've ever heard. Never realised that a remastered version came out in 2015.....31 years after the original release, so ordered it from Amazon and it's miles better than the 1984 release. Although it is bare bones with no extra tracks and the wrong track listing on the sleeve. Definitely worth buying again.

Yes, Under the Pressure is fantastic. When it breaks down and then the driving drums come back in... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TZ9IXScip68

(Could chop a minute off the end though!)
I am listening to "The Gospel of Goro Adachi" by the Boxer Rebellion. This band have slowly become one of my favourites.
LP - Lost on You. Can't believe I hadn't even heard of her until today. And now, annoyingly her only UK show is sold out.

Just discovered GLASYS (a guy called Gil Assayas from Portland, Oregon). Extraordinarily good keyboard player.
This is just bonkers and fun:

And this is properly dark and melodically fascinating:

You're welcome. That's going on in the car tomorrow for the long drive.
I've recently been on a voyage of discovering Norwegian electronic/synth/disco music, who knew there was such a thing!
Artists such as Todd Terje, Lindstrøm, Kygo and of course Röyksopp.
Lindstrøm - Closing Shot

Mmm, synthwave. I rediscovered two tracks I really enjoyed from the past; they're a bit old now but might be of interest if anyone hasn't heard them before.
"So Electric" by Lifelike (amazingly, released in 2007) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G22X5X49VhM
"Sierra" by Hugo Rancho - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qJvSCtbQmQs
Anyway, I'm listening to "Do You Know Me?" by VANT at the moment. The whole Dumb Blood album seems promising but Radio 1 has been promoting this track quite a bit, and I do like it a lot.

I heard this on the radio this morning and then followed it up tonight. Dermot O'Leary is an insufferable prick but I have him to thank for finding it.
