These two both get a big thumbs up from me.

I’m currently enjoying some Beatles.

Please ignore the rudimentary hifi set up. I’m waiting for a proper unit to be built and delivered.

Another Sky

It seems Brave Face was my most played song last year on Spotify and they released this today so have played it a few times.

I think so. It’s my dad’s copy and he assures me he bought it in the week it was first released.

Billy Roberts- Hey Joe

ETA and then I listened to Hendrix's version beneath which someone had commented, "Hendrix isn't dead. Earth was just part of his tour."

Having a bit of a Deep Purple-fest today. Currently listening to the album 'Burn'. 'Lay Down, Stay Down' just finishing.

Love Deep Purple; can't stand 'Smoke On The Water'. Boring track compared to most of their output imo.

I bought it when it was first released and I've played it regularly ever since. I also had the very great pleasure of seeing Love on the Acoustic Stage at Glastonbury in 2004. It must have been one of Arthur Lee's final performances but he sounded superb - one of my best ever Glastonbury highlights.

We had tickets for that but couldn't go in the end, such a pity.

I've just ordered this dvd, looking forward to watching it...

I've had Lexicon of Love by ABC on a lot recently. Went to see Martin Fry on his tour sing the album with an orchestra, absolutely fantastic show. My favourite song ever is on the album, All Of My Heart.

I've gone back to my musical youth this afternoon and have John Mayall's 'The Blues Alone' on Spotify. I haven't listened to it in decades but it is so good.
