Airbourne - Black Dog Barking (album not the song)

I fecking love airbourne, by far my favourite music for rocking away in the car at the moment.

I saw The Treatment last night who supported Airbourne on their last UK tour.

Supporting them last night was another Aussie rock band called Massive. Very much like Airbourne.

Splints ep called Skinning

Sort of post punk emo hardcore or some such description.

Its quite niche but I like this sort of thing, most won't smile

Splints

I do admitt some bias as blue junior writes the music and lyrics plus is lead guitarist and shouty vocalist.

But I do genuinely like this stuff. I listen to other similar bands, but right at this minute I am listening to Splints

Circus Life by Gypsyfingers.

Gypsyfingers is a folk/pop duo comprising Victoria Coghlan and Luke Oldfield (son of Mike).

The music sounds like a mix between Goldfrapp and Lily Allen.

Duke Dumont - Won't Look Back. Absolutely love this. Fantastic 90s dance feel to it but yet still fresh.

Only found it by accident after listening to Duke Dumont's other good one, 'I Got U', which has an awesome summertime chilled-out feel to it - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FHCYHldJi_g

I've been away since Thursday so not sure when it was delivered but tonight I'm mostly listening to my lovely new Ben Howard 'I Forget Where We Were' album on CD which greeted me upon my return today. Heard him play it live a while back and had a copy but it's nice to hear again. His dulcet tones are once again warm and welcoming.
