Queen- Under Pressure. Feeling pretty old and tired this month and this song seems more meaningful each year!

The studio version is still the best IMO:

As far as I know Freddie and Bowie never actually sang it together. THe best I've heard live is probably Queen at Wembley in 86, though Freddie chickens out of the higher notes. hehe

Only discovered Chris Whitley yesterday as an obscure track at the end of the 'Late Night Tales' album by Turin Brakes. Sad to discover later yesterday he died of Lung Cancer in 2005. He was only 45...

Anyway, the track I heard first and have had pretty much on repeat since is called 'Breaking your Fall' and it's very lovely....

Squeeze - Labelled with love. What a track.

Watched the Squeeze documentary on iPlayer last night. Is it me or Does Glenn Tilbrook look like he should be in singing corner with Trev and Simon.

6 Music played a Longpigs track earlier so I'm revisiting 'The Sun is Often Out' - had forgotten just how good it is (although for reasons I won't go into 'On and On' is making me a little frown )
