UB40 - Signing Off. One of my all time favourite albums.

I have one of the first copies ever produced signed by all of the members of UB40.

Being local to them I used to see them play many local pubs & clubs in & around Birmingham. One of their best ever early gigs was at the Hare & Hounds in Kings Heath - a pub that has in the past seen some great names from rock music play live.

It is still a thriving pub even today - rough but it's a great pub. A proper pub.

Carpe Diem - Green Day. For the eleventy billionth time this week.
Meh. It's just a Pinhead Gunpowder album. Songs that wouldn't have made it onto Warning.

Dreadzone - Gangster.

Not listened to anything by them for ages but just found out they're playing near me tomorrow night, listening to some of their more recent stuff to decide whether to go or not.

Just played "Holiday" by the Scorpions to my daughters as we were chatting about where to go next year. They liked the song but still "dunno" about the real holidayconfused
