Someone here mentioned Jean-Michel Jarre, and though I saw him live at Docklands I never bought his early stuff. So I am now listening to Oxygene and Equinoxe on repeat. It's interesting to hear the more famous tracks in their original context.

It's like a musical flashback. The phrase "with rivers of blood" keeps springing to mind. hehe

That reminds me, he has remastered them I think, on vinyl as well.

Just checked my CDs. It doesn't say "remastered" but they are copyright 1970s and 2014. Don't suppose I would know the difference anyway!

Sure I saw one in a record shop.

Edit. Look like vinyl 2011 and Oxygen 3 a well. I need to go back to that shop.

The Chainsmokers - Paris

Say what you will but I loved Closer and think this is almost as catchy. Not my usual sort of music but I enjoy them all the same!

Having watched many of Rob Chapman's guitar videos, I have finally downloaded both Dorje EPs. Absolutely loving it so far.

Iggy Pop - Lust for Life (The Prodigy Remix). First track on the T2 Trainspotting soundtrack and it's very, very good.

Wuthering Heights is a favourite of mine and I have another album of hers but have never listened to The Kick Inside until this week; a great album and I don't know why I haven't listened to it sooner.

Ha Ha I bought it when it first came out a long time ago and she was very young when she wrote some of those wonderful songs.
been a bit nostalgic lately and the Rise and fall of Ziggy stardust has been played on my Amazon Alexa most days this week.
