Just about managed to grab a couple of tickets for this before they're all gone. I don't want to get my hopes up, but I have a feeling this could be a highlight of my year...

Are you a member, or are the tickets now on general sale? Cheers

percy said: Are you a member, or are the tickets now on general sale? Cheers I'm a member. They will be on sale generally from tomorrow I believe. Had a look earlier and the front stalls for both nights are fully booked, but there was still around half of the rear stalls and balcony available. I can check again if you were interested in knowing. ETA - I just had a look at Monday and some seats in the front stalls have become available so i grabbed a couple more. Not sure yet if I'll have another couple of friends who want to go, so I *might* have a couple of spare tickets to this if anyone is interested.

Excellent.
I'm really looking forward to this and very curious as to which numbers she'll sing and who will be accompanying her.

So, she did a warm-up gig on Saturday in Bath and the set list included several Cocteau songs from Blue Bell Knoll and Heaven or Las Vegas, interspersed with new stuff.
She was accompanied by ex members of Spiritualized, Tim Lewis, Sean Cook and Damon Reece (her partner).
Steve Hackett is expected to play and Damon has indicated in the past that this line-up would do more gigs with Liz in the future, once the album is finished. Of course, that is always subject to delays and change, but we live in hope.
Looking forward to tomorrow night even more now...

Well, what did you think?
I thought she was maybe a little nervous to begin, which made her voice sound a bit fragile, but after 2 or 3 songs she seemed to have relaxed into it and later on there were some wonderful moments. Maybe the guy shouting out "turn up the vocals" actually had an effect!
It would have been nice if Steve Hackett could have stayed on for a couple more numbers, but the two of them together for that one song was a fantastic performance.
I was also pleasantly surprised that the Cocteau songs were not re-interpreted as much as I thought they might have been and the set list was identical to the Bath Pavilion gig on Saturday, which was a perfect mix of old and new material.
I think Liz and Damon really felt the appreciation we all had for them tonight and I do hope these gigs prove to be the catalyst for a new album, because it is long overdue!

I think you summed it up pretty well. I was saying exactly the same to my mate re: vocals at the start. Once she settled into the evening though, you could sense her relaxing. Well worth the effort of going down to London for the gig. Ironically, the mate that I met up with is from Bath and had only just found out about her warm-up gig there!

Thought the support went on a bit too long though...
