taylor hawkins doing his thing smile
along with, chad smith, prob my 2 fave drummers.
they must be proper fit aswell, banging away like mad at a 2 hour show must be pretty draining.

Not exactly a single live performance but this is interesting:

http://vimeo.com/19274705

'on the road' and concert performance snippets of Robin Peckford touring with Joanna Newsom.

Has some lovely guitar playing, excellent live vocals and some nice tilt-shift (or shopped?) video of cityscapes.

32mins of Kyuss awesomeness, live from Bizarrefest 1994. Josh Homme looks about 12 in it!

Seen it loads of times but it never gets any less insane. The guy was just incredible.

He was a beast!

But this...

I dunno... there's something about this video that captures Buddy's raw power - not to mention that giant booming kick!

The 'st' moment too! My drum teacher described Buddy as breathing fire, and that's what came out in his performance. I can see that in this video.

I'm cautiously bumping with a classical guitar tune by a composer I'm not, normally, keen on.

What - for me - makes this take on Vivaldi's Guitar Concerto is Julian Bream's sublime playing. OK, John Williams may play this piece with more precision (as he does), but JB imparts so much colour and texture into this that the notes played are almost incidental.
