Just wondering if anyone else on here supported Ginger's PledgeMusic campaign and bought the triple fan-funded album he's just released? He was hoping to raise £30,000 in 60 days, he actually raised about £260,000 and had reached his original target within a few hours. Or otherwise have you bought the commercial 12 song album 100%? (you should, it's great) He's managed to get a fan-funded album, with no advertising or record label support into no.9 in the album charts. A massive achievement really seeing a relatively unknown British songwriter (one of the most talented of his generation imo) in a chart with Linkin Park, Bieber and Cheryl Cole. http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/chart/update/albumsAnyway it's a huge achievement and shows that repected artists with enough fan support are able to produce quality music without needing record label backing. It's a very eclectic rock album, all sorts of influences (rock, dance, funk, disco etc) lots of melodies, lots of guitar riffs, some great lyrics and all very "feelgood" and positive. If you're interested listen to these then go buy the album 100% just to make sure it stays in the charts http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yWsSTBgfYmUhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HUvsJ_HeH2c&fea...

Yeah the triple CD is great, really is the best CD I've bought in years, it looks brilliant. Hope he makes a good few quid out of it so he can actually afford to release a few more albums in the next couple of years

Yep, pledged and got my CD through the other day Truly one of the best music buying experiences ever, much more satisfying than simply clicking "Buy" in iTunes. The video updates and Friday "listening parties" were great fun! Looks like 100% is set to make the album chart top 10 on Sunday as well. Hopefully this will give the music industry a much needed kick up the backside!! Hello!" and "Mutation" due to be announced soon from what I gather. I think he tweeted that he's planning to have released 6(?) albums in 2012. Jackdaw4 have an pledge open at the moment as well and are worth a look if you like Gingers stuff (555% was part produced/performed by JD4s Willie Dowling)

Another pledger here, and as already said what a great process getting all the studio updates etc along the way. Way more PH Ginger fans than expected though!

Mine is unsigned so rarer (I'm a poor sod and couldn't spare the extra!) Might have a look at Jackdaw4 actually, seen them supporting Wildhearts few years back and have seen Willie playing with ginger before Very pleased that there are other PH ginger/wildhearts fans, massively important band in my life. He's getting some good press, hope the album stays top 10 for Sunday just for the extra publicity and sales it'll generate: http://www.standard.co.uk/showbiz/celebrity-news/h...

Another pledger here! Got my signed triple cd last saturday, and what a splendid package it is!
For me as a massive Therapy? fan it was great to see Fyfe Ewing involved in the project too.
Fingers crossed the album stays top 10!

Very cool! I haven't got the new record but Endless Nameless is one of the best rock records of all time. Stacked with great tunes.
