Seldomseenkid, is your forum name a nod to these guys Wiki
If not I suggest you investigate thoroughly
They look really interesting. I haven't heard of them before, I'll check them out! If not I suggest you investigate thoroughly
My username is in reference to the Elbow album, which I was listening to at the time I registered.
Gun toting, god bothering bks the lot of it.
When we had our music club where we had a couple of new country albums on the list, I can't remember who by but the things I remembered were.
They can certainly play
Every song had utterly dreadful lyics
I hate the nasal drawl, it is worse than people singing with a fake London accent.
Saying that I do have a lot of time for Neil Young and Ryan Adams.

Do yourself a favour. Go and see this bloke:http://www.ents24.com/uk/tour-dates/albert-lee-and...
If you don't come out with your jaw on the floor and a revised opinion of "god bothering bks" I will send you a photograph of me eating my (Stetson) hat.

Eric Church tonight at Shepherds Bush! Should be fun battling the Sunday night commute back into town people make!
Very jealous! Saw him in Glasgow on Thursday night and he was incredible. One of the best gigs I have ever seen and the place was packed! Will be going to see him again no question audidoody said:

I loved it, thought Eric and his band were on fire, and looked like they were really enjoying themselves on stage. The Cadillac Three were decent too!
Cadillac Three were brilliant, bought their album when I got home after seeing them.
Who's going to the Country 2 Country festival at The O2 this weekend then?
I completely forgot Dierks Bentley was playing, then saw on his Facebook that he was in London looking for pubs to be recommended. I then scrambled for google trying to find our where he was playing!
Going to be a great weekend! Highlight has got to be Brad Paisley for me though!

Am I allowed to suggest southern rock/country in here?
I hope so because I discovered Blackberry Smoke recently and there aren't many people/places I can harp on about how incredibly good I find them! Only listened to their Little Pieces of Dixie album so far, not a bad or mediocre song on it.

I loved it, easily one of the best I have been to so fingers crossed he makes a return trip next year! I loved it, thought Eric and his band were on fire, and looked like they were really enjoying themselves on stage. The Cadillac Three were decent too!
Yeah I was really impressed by them, bought their album as well
Very jealous of those that went to C2C, what were the Zac Brown Band like?
After two days of C2C I hope they can pull the same line up off next year, also hoping it features Luke Bryan!
Amazing nights, Dierks Bentley won Saturday night I have to say. ZBB were amazing to, the energy and just their talent was outstanding. But for getting involved with the crowd and really getting people going Dierks had that. The Dixie Chicks seemed to still be struggling with themselves and while great to hear them perform, it did just feel like they were going through the motions. Although I guess when you've had the journey they have had through Country music they may be a little jaded.
Sunday for me was all about Brad Paisley. Everything else was a bonus, and what a bonus. Chris Young was great, reminds me a bit of Toby Keith, just not to redneck, but same sort of singing voice. The Band Perry were just brilliant and have been an act I've been told to see numerous times and were well worth seeing. Brought the house down with If I Die young. Rascal Flatts got everyone going and finished off in the only way I thought they would with Life is a Highway. Then the performance of the weekend was by far Brad Paisley. Been waiting to hear him perform since he was last at The O2, and since then he's done the rounds on two albums, would like to have heard a few more off of This is Country Music, but was perfectly happy with what we got.
I managed to sneak in my Telephoto camera and from where I was sat got some great photos...
