Amazing tune, and the other side was just as good too.
I can clearly remember buying it in 5HQ when released, little knowing at the time how good a label it would grow in to

Sneakers/5hq/formation always had a wicked selection.

Any idea what the sample is from?
Sounds like some cartoon film from my childhood.

Oh not another legend gone!
I used to hammer this at Milwaukee’s, god I miss that bass!! After the club shut down the Cerwin Vega system sat rotting away in Des the owners garage, what a waste frown

As for the Outa Intelligence tune sample, I can’t find any info apart from someone saying it’s from Children of the corn

While I’m here, here’s a Topbuzz favourite, I used to love the stuff they played that no one else did, such a unique selection.

1:07, that breakdown doesn’t half make the hair stand up on the back of your neck! What a time it was to be alive biglaugh

Always loved Top Buzz for digging deep in the bag.
Here's another tune I mainly associate with the Buzz.

Do you know the name of the tune Top Buzz used to play that had an "Ave... Maria.... Maria..." sample in it?

I couldn’t remember that one, but a quick hunt revealed this, there’s also a more cheesy mix with the classic waltz at the start

Had a go at a sort of minimal jungle techno thing.

I bet the Magical Touch video I posted a while back was never actually watched - seriously - some great sounds there, modern jungle that sound as good as if not better than the 90's. I am really enjoying the Thames Delta stuff - the organisation of the channel is rubbish but when you find a set it always delivers.

Interesting to read a lot of Stussy's stuff, in the scene. I don't quite have the claim to fame but almost. I was so into Pirate radio that I did get to know some of the crew back in the day. Remember Kappa and Flex 103.6? I literally was online for years between 96 and 99 as that turned from d and b to garage. And I was all over Origin, Rude, Transmission, and Dream/Don before that. 94 was my calling as a boy when I found the sound - I lived the change from 94 - 98 so only 4 years but not only saw early jungle evolve, but turn into d and b, and then go a bit wayside. I ended up in 2001 going elsewhere but always had it in my heart. Those years, were huge. A lot happened. The music genuinely saved me.

I mentioned Bad Strawberry before. This is that (took 20 yrs to find and came from a Dr S Gachet set on a tape pack).

Will post some more beneath shortly

Something recent, that those who know, know. (Need decent sound setup for full effect - otherwise impact vastly reduced)

Some say the bottom 2 are a remix of each other. Everyone knows the first one or should do, the second one gives a different angle / flavour. For me I call it the elephant song. I love the African vibe. I am a white middle aged man, who having been in Tanzania some time ago, can feel the animalistic and tribal power present in both. I just keep seeing/hearing an angry elephant. I love it.

And just to give the flavour - after those slightly more 96 tunes - a true junglist ending = just for the brethren!

What a refreshing evening - first of many for 24, big up the small PH crew, all of the massive, all those that came to see me. Long time!

Yes that's the one, awesome thanks been after it a while. I can see you being useful.

The other one I am desperate for and I forget the name although did find out recently is another 96 one. Just before the drop a bloke goes "control" then it is extended out "cooonnnttttrrrooolll" before another wavey bassline, but it is jump up. As I couldnt find it on youtube I gave up looking and forgot the name - I'll see if I can find it.
This quote is on page 1 of this thread.

Stussy - legend. I still play this tune today.

Posted 2012. I love it. The thanks I can give doesn't match the result for me. Huge win!
