I just heard about these this morning, really hoping to grab a couple of tix on Friday morning. Which of the three are you going to see? I'm hoping to get tix for the first (Blackened Sky & Puzzle)

Just picked up tickets for the mighty indie power pop supergroup that is The New Pornographers. Fingers crossed Neko Case will be on this tour with them.

Horrors at the Troxy.

Kate Bush story. Good friend of mine got tickets for 2 nights via the fan website when first announced. He's been sent to Singapore
with work for a month but is flying back just for the gigs and straight back.

Got tickets to see Machine Head at Portsmouth yesterday, also seeing Slash and Black Stone Cherry at Wembley Arena too. So happy to be seeing Machine Head again so soon, they were awesome at Brighton at the beginning of the month.

I have two tickets I don't need for Motorhead on Thursday 6 Nov in Birmingham. If you want them and ask politely you can have them at half price (£21 x 2 = £42 all in). PM me if you're interested.

Minor update smile

I should have been at the Borderline tonight to see me old mucker Bernie Torme, but circumstance got the better of me frown

Next up is Motorhead (Nov), Saxon (Dec), Queen (Jan) then Mark Knopfler (May) bounce

Only gigs on the horizon are Motley Crue and AC/DC thumbup

Johnny Marr at the O2 Academy in Leeds last night, he really has blossomed as a solo artist with the release of Playland. Plenty of Smiths classics to get our teeth into as well, dead pleased.

Looking forward to James and Morrissey gigs in November.

Off to see Royal Blood do a live set at X-FM tonightbounce

Think the studio holds 30 people, so should be fairly cozy! Won tickets by responding to a comp they put on twitter! They said if you want to come and join us let us know why you should be there. My surname is Parr, so I said "I've got Royal Blood in me, one of my ancestors was Catherine Parr (married to Henry the 8th)

Low and behold, I won!
should've claimed you could see St Elmo's Fire.... wink

I am having a bit of a Novemberfest:

Spoon 7/11 at Shep Bush Empire
James 10/11 as Oxford Academy
James 21/11 at Brixton Academy
The National 26/11 at The O2
David Ford 28/11 at Union Chapel
Morrissey 29/11 at The O2

Costing me a pretty penny in tickets, travel, beers and merch! All good though.
