What music bits have you just bought?

Wampler Ego Compressor and TC Electronic Ditto X2 Looper.
The Ego compressor is a fantastic bit of kit. The blend control is what makes this pedal IMO. Dial in just enough of what you need, dry and compressed. Very transparent.

That compressor looks great from the video on the link you posted. A better compressor is next on my list of pedals, so I'll have to give one a try.
I picked up a Big Muff Pi/with tone Wicker yesterday. I compared it to a RAT pedal, but found that the RAT was closer to my Tube Screamer, so no point buying something too similar to what I already have. It really suits some of the songs we do and some new ones I'd like us to play.
To much other stuff in the shop to tempt me while I waited for a 'booth' at Andertons. They must have about 500 pedals on display, let alone all the guitars and amps...

Spook. I went the other way & ditched my Big Muff for a RAT to accompany my Tube screamer. I found the Big Muff muddy & the RAT to be wonderfully adjustable from Ramones buzzing to Clapton creamy. Not that I play either much.I picked up a Big Muff Pi/with tone Wicker yesterday. At least it explains why they make so many different fuzz/distortion/OD pedals as we've all got different tastes and styles. I got the Muff with the 'Wicker' switch which really does add brightness, though it's a bit too much with my Telecaster, so I turned the 'Wicker' off for that. My Blackstar HT5-R is quite bright sounding too.
Twelve delay machines in one, ranging from analogue to digital. Studio quality and the sounds out of the box are outstanding. The best delay unit out there IMO.
Arrives next Wednesday!

GuitarSystems Tony's BenderTool - Tonebender Mk II style Germanium Fuzz
FEATURES
Matched transistor setup - Three selected & matched NOS Germanium transistors
Impedance Conversion Interface (on/off) - converting an active input signal (EMG pickups, Wireless system) to a signal suited for the BenderTool and thus retaining the character of the effect
Fuzz control - control the amount of Fuzz /Gain
Continuous variable range control (T.M.F.) - dial in the amount of low end
Volume control - adjust the overall output volume of the effect
The PaulSwitch ® - robust true bypass footswitch to switch effect on/off & to avoid tone sucking in bypass operation
Pre warning Battery low indication - led dims when battery is below threshold voltage to guarantee a consistent sound character
External power supply - (noise reduced) providing the option to use an external power supply without inducing noise or changing the character of the sound
Reverse and over voltage protection - to protect the sensitive germanium transistors
Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) suppression - avoiding radio signal reception when using high gain setting in combination with turning down guitar volume
Great Fuzz with the addition that it will work with both passive and active pickups

^ lovely amp! Whats it like?
My tele has been rather unloved for the past year or so, so I am considering flogging it and treating myself.... Just not sure with what yet!
Thanks. It's a modern amp that has a true Dumble sound. I've owned and played Marshalls, Boogies and Fenders but none of them come close to the versatility of the Two Rock. The cleans are out of this world and it takes pedals very well, not that you need them. Definitely a keeper.
I'm having a bit of an Electro Harmonix love in at the moment as after the Big Muff Pi I bought recently, I've now bought the EHX 'Cathedral' reverb pedal.
I compared it to the more basic 'Grail' pedals but the small amount extra for the Cathedral seems worth it for the extra flexibility and the preset options. It even has a delay setting which also allows reverb so it replaces an older cheap delay pedal I have. Still haven't bought the compressor pedal I fancy next, but I think it could well be a Wampler one with a 'blend' control.

Treated myself to:
Spent a large part of the weekend setting up various rigs for the songs we cover. Awesome bit of kit with Pro Tools bundled, that's going to take some learning to use well.
Even plugged my old Washburn MG42 guitar and it almost makes me sound like I know what I'm doing with 6-strings!
