What music bits have you just bought?

Twenty amps??? I've got three (including an old transistor practice amp in the loft) and I'm wondering where I might store another one I'm hoping to look at these weekend. I've got two guitars, two amps and a full Roland edrum kit in my living room, I think I might be asked to move something soon...
Hats off to you Sir. (And happy new amp day).

Let me know if you get nay bites. I'm on 11 guitars & I'm running out of room.
20 amps, don't count the guitars, I can't remember how many. There's about thirty here, and some up at my mother and father's, and some at my mate's that our lass doesn't know about. The oldest is a '63 Hofner, the newest is a 2011 Explorer. Highlights include a Gretsch Anniversary, some Gibson ES 135s, Yamaha SA 30, four Les Pauls, some SGs (not sure how many, I like SGs), four Gordon Smiths, '70s Hagstrom Swede, loads of other stuff. A feckin' million pedals, rack units, midi floor switchers, pre and power amps, leads, cabs, speakers, empty combos, stands, tuners, racks etc etc.
20??? oh my word that is a target. I'm on 5 but two of them are just not being used so I should probably move them on. As far as guitars go I have to give the Telecaster Plus (like Johnny Greenwoods) back which I thought was going to be a wrench until I realised I had not touched it since I got my les paul..

So my new Jackson finally arrived...
It's a San Dimas Adrian Smith Signature model:
My first Jackson and I'm really impressed with the quality! Better fretwork than the Fenders I've owned before and the setup was very good out of the box.
The neck actually feels like a slightly rounder version of the neck on my Music Man JP6. It's quite thin - it's definitely not your typical strat neck. Lovely satin finish on it too (again, feels a bit like the JP6 in this respect).
Nice glassy clean tones from the noiseless single coils and the Super Distortion in the bridge does exactly what it says on the tin! The Floyd is really nice too, it's the first official Floyd I've used (the rest have been various versions of the Ibanez Edge) and I quite like the way the trem bar attaches too. It's more stable than the pop in kind, but doesn't struggle from undoing itself like the standard Fender one).
So yes, very pleased

I'm gigging on Saturday and the sound guys said not to bring an amp as they want me to DI straight into their enormous PA system. Thus I panicked, read many a review and finally bought a Digitech RP360FX. I tried it out last night and really quite like all the amp modelling and effects. Even the valve breakup sounds are pretty good. It seems that things have moved on a very long way since my Zoom 606.

Drove a 90mile round trip yesterday to bag a £26 eBay retro synth bargain
Casio HT-3000
Drums and chord sounds are 8-bit awful but the synth engine is quite powerful and unique and it has MIDI so it'll be part of the set up in no time
Interesting. There's a good little review of it here: http://www.vintagesynth.com/casio/ht3000.php Check out the demo too - love its slightly lo-fi 'computer game' sound. Might have to pick one up myself if I spot a bargain!Drove a 90mile round trip yesterday to bag a £26 eBay retro synth bargain

Just upgraded my live cabs to a single cab...
Barefaced SuperTwin 4 Ohm impedence can handle 1200W RMS! Practiced with it Thursday, gigged it Saturday and it's a lightweight room-filler. The lows are just stunning and the mids are tight and enough top-end to suit. Plus fits in the boot of an A5 coupe!

Top end from where? I see no tweeter / horn...Ray Luxury-Yacht said:

Hence 'enough top end to suffice'. I wasn't sure it was going to be bright enough but I had it on trial for a practice with one band and gig with another and it was a bit of a revelation. In a gig setting for the rock music I play it's lows and mids that I find need to be solid. Highs get lost against furnishings and among the guitars and cymbals. Played solo you'll probably notice it could be a little brighter but in reality not an issue. I do need to tweak my FX setup slightly to get the best out of it though. It has a big brother - Big Twin 2 that has an additional horn that wold have been perfect had it been about 1/2" thinner front-back.
