Just picked up a Fender Jazz - a bass I've been looking to buy for a while. Artist series - Geddy Lee:

Neck binding is lovely and the pearloid scratch plate looks great:

Vintage inlays

High-mass signature bridge:

It plays beautifully, first passive bass since learning to play 28 years ago and it's awesome.

Lots of Telecasters on here recently, as it happens I have been playing mine a lot more over recent times as well.

Fantastic guitars. Which ones did you guys go for?

Pearl Export Rock Kit with 5 cymbals for 20% of what they must have cost new. Well chuffed with that. Wife/Neighbours not necessarily quite so chuffed.

Nice condition cream USA standard - with Seymour Duncan Custom shop Andy Summers pickups.
Need to set it upto my liking, but initial impressions are good !
first Tele I've owned (or even played!) in 35 years of playing guitar

Hoping to get one of these soon,

Hopefully can speak to 'my man' and get the head and a 1x12 cab with it for a decent price. Don't really want just the combo, the head would be much cooler, then I can go mad and splash put on a big cab for live stuff.

Sad I had to sell the old one frown

Do you know what spec the pickups are? I've got an American standard, looking to swap out the neck pickup for a humbucker, maybe an SD Seth lover, but not sure what to put in the bridge to balance it with..

If it's got Andy Summers pickups on, don't forget it's compulsory to put it through a chorus pedal, all the time.

ZVEX fuzzolo. Been after a fuzz pedal for a while, this seemed crazy enough for a punt!

I've bought a Stretton Payne acoustic guitar starter kit. It was well-recommended on Amazon. And a lot cheaper too.
