I'm thinking of buying one of these - a bit easier than the reverb / delay / pitchshift lash-up it needs otherwise to get the 'Eno shimmer'.

What's the verdict?

Just bought this USA 97 Strat on eBay from the original owner, very little used, £561, thought it would go for rather more, perhaps other people don't like this colour as much as I do (I like it a lot smile)

Just needs new strings, bit of a clean up and a good set-up.

A EHX B9 Organ Machine has just been delivered to my desk. Can't wait to get home and give it a go.

Just bought myself this leccy violin on eBay. It needs a bit of attention though, as the action is way off and even an expert would struggle to play it, let alone a complete and utter duffer like me. Well I do all the maintenance jobs on my guitars, so this will be no different. Even if I do muck up the bridge completely, a new one won't break the bank.

(At least I know why the previous owner couldn't play it.)

That is bloody beuatiful and must be very nice to use. Can you put two of them together for 32 channels of simultaneous control?

Truly fantastic piece of kit.
And the sound is amazing.

I've used SSL stuff all of my career and this is brilliant.

No need to use more than one. The machine can control as many channels as you set up. AND you have parallel control of up to 3 DAW apps AT THE SAME TIME. Just switch between them smile

Now trying to justify how to get a Matrix biggrin

I've been promising myself a Fender Precision for 40-odd years, since I first saw Burke Shelley of Budgie playing one. Had to be sunburst, rosewood 'board & tortoise-shell scratch-plate. Bought this Mexican on eBay...

£30's worth of scratch-plate & heavy chrome knobs later...et voila! (poor phone-pics...)

Should be on the 'didn't need' thread, I suppose. I don't even play bass...

Still no pickup. I rang them up on Friday & moaned. Turns out when I rang them up on Monday & moaned, the guy working there made nice noises & then went about his day. Now they're out of stock. New ones in Wednesday apparently, so I said if it's not here Thursday. give me my money back. Three weeks is patience enough I think?

Yes I imagined you can jump banks of faders but I find this very disorienting with banks "jumping" to the left (the reason I got 2 extenders for my Mackie universal) and different channels being allocated to different faders from one moment to another.

Linking 2 together for 32 channels and their info being able to be controlled and read all at once would make it the perfect bit of kit.

Once again though, bloody beautiful and it must be worth it just to see the name on the chassis!

Thomann.de have them in stock (assuming this is the one you've ordered).

I got my EMGs from them when none of the UK shops had them in stock, and they were £20 or so cheaper.

Try Sounds Plus in Bury St Edmunds. They're SD dealers and a great bunch of lads too.

No naming & shaming, I'll give these guys one more go but if it's not in my hot little hands by Thursday, I shall administer a bking over the phone such that would smite the very bks from a mighty elephant.

Well, back on track, I gigged my Line 6 Relay G30 wireless for the first time on Saturday. It's brilliant. No hiss, no drop-out, silent guitar changes by switching off the body pack. And no cable to fall over.

Did nearly fall due to a dip in the grass we were playing on, mind you. Bit hard to wander around, play and look where I'm going

Funny you should say that, because I've just bought this...
