When I left the UK a year ago I gave my (awful) old piano away. All my guitars, boxes of music books etc. are in storage over there and for the last 12 months I haven't played any music.

Just treated myself to a nice electric piano (Korg 380), not ideal but satisfies my craving for music and suits the fact we live in a condo so an acoustic grand piano is not really a possibility.

Music shops here in singapore are crap as far as I can see, so I'm looking online for sheet music. I'm impatient so want to download rather than buy and ship. Some websites require proprietary software to read music, all others require varying levels of payment.

Are there any good websites to download free (copyright free) sheet music as PDF documents?

Thanks.

Yeah, a lot of stuff on there. And if you can't find what you want, just post up a request.

If you can get hold of the midi file for the piece you are interested in (and there's a lot out there), you could of course get some software to print the notation from it, or even put the computer screen where you can see it while you play. Have a look at this as an example

Imslp.org is a brilliant resource for "classical" music out of copyright. In the main it's orchestral music but there may be some piano music on there.
