Is that the store with the guitars on the top floor, with drum stuff below?

I was rather annoyed with one shop in Exeter, their website didn't state that most of the guitars shown were online only. Waste of an 3 hour round trip when there wasn't any of the charvels in the store that they had on the site!
I don't think so - unless they have a well hidden drum basement that I didn't see! I think they only sell guitars and basses etc.
Ah not them then, there was a rather good place in Exeter that had proper booths for testing, quite big with sliding doors. Tried a couple of Charvels there, had a great amount of stock. Load of Gibsons.

Wasn't at all tempted by a SG junior...

Bought my LP from Andertons, and have to say theye were really good.

They have the little booths where you can widdle away to your hearts content.

I had shortlisted the LP and the PRS Bernie, tired both of those for about an hour and went with the LP.

Knowledgeable, helpfull, friendly - and when I went to the till with it, I was actually served by the Captain himself.

Cant praise them enough tbh.

I went into andertons this Saturday with the intention of buying an ESP strat, I had pretty much decided to buy it but thought I should probably compare it with something else, so asked for some alternatives.
They gave me 3 other guitars to try and I ended up taking home a Schecter Blackjack ss I found it much easier to play.
The staff couldn't have been more helpful, really pleasant experience.
The booths are great as I'm no <insert guitar hero of choice>.

I had a similarly pleasant experience in Guitar village last time I went there.

+1 For Andertons.

I ended up totally blowing my budget and ended up with a paisley Strat.

Have already ordered a Hi-Hat from them.

Very good bunch.
