Well, there is a thread for intros, so why not outros!

The song that prompted this thought, Pulp's Sunrise. The outro is technically three minutes long in this case, but absolutely sublime as highlighted here:

Surely the only real answer here is Freebird. 10 minutes of increasingly brilliant guitar work. Honourable mention to the live version of Boys are Back by Thin Lizzy too, even sounds pretty good when we covet it.

War pigs is rather awesome - Iommi's amazingly emotive rhythm work. Master of the riff.

Heaven and Hell is stunning. Dio worked so well with the Brummie lot, such a perfect song.

Mr Crowley - is rather mad with Randy at his best.

Altitudes (Jason Becker) - Awesome powerful music from an awesome man. (I also had that song in the best intro thread - do I get a prize?)

Megadeth : Hangar 18 (for Mustaine's aggression and Friedman's fluency)

Tchaikovsky : 1812 Overture (with cannons)

Sir Psycho Sexy by the Red Hot Chilli Peppers has to be up there, the outro from "It's getting nice out here, I think I'll stay for a while" is just sublime, John Frusciante's playing nails it.

Maybe a touch bad taste for some, but I judge the music on its own merit, not the member(s) of the band, the outro from lostprophet's Sway is amazing.
