Pah, I'll raise your Carl Cox digital Boiler Room with some DJ Shadow vinyl Boiler Room, with the odd House sample thrown in and an astonishing workrate cool
I used to sell Carl records! He would agree with me when it comes to house music!

Depends what flavour of house you're talking about but I'm loving Adnan Jakubovic's stuff at the moment.

And I can't pass up the opportunity to mention my ski bud Simon Andrews, 4-6pm every Sunday on PointBlank FM, or Soundcloud or FaceBook (DJ Simon Andrews).

'Garage' where did you get that word from I didn't mention it?

House music comes from Chicago, New York and Detriot anything else is 'dance music' FULL STOP!
To be really anal about it House comes from Chicago and Garage from New York.

Named after the Warehouse and Paradise Garage respectively.

House music was all of it imho. 4 4 beat from a 303, but could be jazz, funk, acid, soul, techno, the genres started to get defined more over here than over there imho, well certainly earlier anyway.

So much good 'house' music about at the moment, production levels are also top notch too.

Headphones on.
saw him at the social festival in kent last week - he put on a top show, his stage pressence is so good always engaging the crowd when possible

i've been into alot of tech-house/techno sorta music lately

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=obIC33EfUdk - the breakdown on this is immense especially live when they've got lasers going and confetti cannons etc

It is techno but the drumcode boys always smash it. Got such a groove to it.

Adam Beyer @ Cocoon, Ibiza.

Enjoy!

I saw tale of us last weekend. Astonishing set from timewarp festival. https://soundcloud.com/taleofus/tale-of-us-timewar...

Not my cup of tea usually but trippy as hell and they know how to tease the crowd and pull out the sick tunes where required. would recommend.
