How confident are you they'll do some dates up here (ish)?
From a quick check of the announced dates, they are all at big stadiums/outdoor venues, Wembley, Hampden Park, Aviva Stadium, Olympia Stadium (Berlin), Stade de France (Paris) etc. and also other outdoor venues such as Hockenheimring, Red Bull Race TrackThey have only announced 22 dates (8 in Germany), all in Europe. I suppose we will have to see what sort of other venues they announce.
At the minute, I'm going to hold back and hope some other dates are added.

Not much really.Seeing how 'old' Angus has got recently (heard him in a few interviews, BBC, Planet Rock, and the new videos too I was quite shocked at just how old he sounded and looks - never nice to realise your heroes have finally succumbed to time... ) I won't be surprised if this is it really - I really don't think Angus can take it anymore.

I don't have much of a choice but to do the same. They have only announced 22 dates (8 in Germany), all in Europe. I suppose we will have to see what sort of other venues they announce.

Funnily enough I saw a clip of Angus the other day and was also slightly dismayed to see how...almost decrepit he looked. I remember seeing them in 79 when he headbanged through the audience at the Apollo. I'd still try to get tickets to a concert up here though.Seeing how 'old' Angus has got recently (heard him in a few interviews, BBC, Planet Rock, and the new videos too I was quite shocked at just how old he sounded and looks - never nice to realise your heroes have finally succumbed to time... ) I won't be surprised if this is it really - I really don't think Angus can take it anymore.
From Manchester, too. Mrs.T66 has tried to get tickets booked for Glasgow, but Ticketmaster appears to be having few issues with 'high demand'! Only other tickets available are some in the highest tier at £110 per ticket - so £220 for two tickets and then a £40 'process fee'. Really wanted to see them, but not at that sort of cost, as it would entail a hotel and travel costs on top.
Airbourne, mentioned earlier, were apparently fantastic at last year's Hard Rock Hell in North Wales, according to Mrs.T66. Sadly, I didn't see them as I'd somehow managed to down a full bottle of Jameson's before they came on stage and had to go back (be helped back, in truth) to the chalet to 'lie down for a bit'.

Got my tickets for Wembley. Seated right at the back though, better than nothing I guess. Ticketmaster was showing a few upper level seats still available a few minutes ago.
Funny how the pitch/standing and best seated tickets seemed to sell out the second they were made available. If I was a cynic I'd say lots of these were presold to the usual suspects (and were never even available to Joe Public)
Like all big gigs the ticketing system stinks IMO.

Never seen them, I'm certainly not what you would call a fan, but I really think I need to see them this time as I feel this could be their last. I got two tickets for Wembley, no problem. £72 a go.
However, after booking, I realise we may have a wedding to attend that weekend, wife's cousin, so, I might have 2 for sale shortly.

I'd certainly like to take them off your hands if you can't make it?I'm sure I heard a while back that the tickets have the buyers name on them, and you have to produce ID to get in?

Stubhub already has 970 tickets for Wembley - cheapest @ £150. Within an hour of them going on sale. This is clearly touting, how is this practice legal?
StubHub - An Ebay company. What a surprise!1000+ tickets from £150. Disgusting IMO. Tickets should be like airline tickets, only usuable by the person who originally purchased them.
