Still nobody rocking as hard as ACDC - great gig last night and the fret work by Angus was nothing short of amazing. If extended guitar solo's at a rock concert are deemed "wky" then well, I wish I was as much of a wker as Angus hehe

Yep, was absolutely amazing! They have more energy than I do, and I'm in my 20's, not my 60's hehe

Getting back to Aberdeen at 2AM wasn't fun though, work wasn't fun!

Hmmm, glad I sold my tickets now!
Was thinking about getting a last minute one for Dublin but might just give it a miss!
Maybe Malcolm leaving has taken away the magic??
I've heard that Malcolm was the one who kept everybody in line, especially his brother, so you could be on something there.

Was down at hampden gig last weekend. While it was a great show, it seemed like it was absolutely blown out of the water by the black ice tour. Things like the intro video with the train crashing through the stage, extra video for all the songs, the last tour just seemed like a much 'bigger' show.

Just leaving the house now to head over to wembley can't wait. Vintage trouble look like they are pretty decent live from what I've seen online. All this nice weather means im 5 pints in already !!!!!

Holy thread resurrection batman...

Well, AC/DC last night at Hampden Park in Glasgow, and I have to say...I was a little disappointed. I have loads of AC/DC albums but I'd never seen them in concert before;.
Perhaps this rock things not for you eh?

Your while review really just underlines to me that you just don't get AC/DC.
They've never had the mid song rapport of American bands, they come on, do their stuff and get off - not even a big group bow at the end.
I've seen them numerous times since 1979 and every show has been, virtually, done to the same recipe.
Angus has always said that this is their thing, and I'm quite shocked you expected anything else.

I purposely didn't get tickets for this tour as they are just not the same (No Malcolm AND Phil is no AC/DC to me) - I don't want the memories I have of them to be sullied by this tour. The Black Ice tour a few years ago was the beginning of the decline (it was sorry to see Angus finally showing his age), so I definitely didn't want to see any more.

I'm sorry you're disappointed - it's just a shame you didn't see them 20 odd years ago, you would have written an entirely different review then.

Just got back home from Wembley and I am in awe of what I just witnessed earlier. Seen AC/DC last in 96' on the Ballbreaker tour and they were brilliant then, nearly 20yrs on and in their 60's last nights show was truly immense, pure power and so much raw energy. Roll on the next time if they tour againbow.

You may managed to get better tickets than me! You couldn't see a great deal from up in the stands. Sound quality didn't seem brilliant either. Great gig but I wish they'd play some smaller places instead. Wembley isn't the best IMHO. I can see why they do play it though to be fair, from a financial point of view.

Possibly the last time they'll tour, who knows. Glad we went though even if everything wasn't perfect.

Great to see them (G'gow) the other night, great track list (esp. as it may be their last) and a great introduction to concerts for my 12yr old son, who had a cracking time.

We salute you etc.

Took my two daughters aged 13 and 11 last night and they were blown away.

For a group of pensioners, they have still got it and absolutely rocked Wembley !

Amazing experience in Wembley last night, had a great time, how old is Angus young now?!, sound was shocking, even though it was very loud.
