I too was at the Glasgow gig, and whilst I agree that the sound wasn't the best, it didn't matter too much as I spent most of the night jumping about like a dafty. As far as straight up, no nonsense rock shows go, AC/DC are up there with the best in the business. Vintage Trouble were impressive too. Ty Taylor is an excellent front man.

I was there on Saturday night. Did Brian actually say anything between songs? I feel they are just playing out time before they retire. A bit disappointed to be honest....

Wembley on Saturday for me too.

Having never seen them before, I have no comparison. I thought it was a bit over amplified and where I was up in the top seats, some of it sounded a little mushy, but a great show none the less. I think it would have been better (visually) if it were either a bit later or a bit darker to get the best of the lights but I'm splitting hairs.

Shame it took longer to get home than the 2 hours odd that they played for.

Vintage Trouble tried hard but weren't great IMO. Would have loved a band like Royal Blood to warm up the evening.

Done now though, the ACDC itch has been scratched.

Totally agree bow

There was no interaction at all between the band & crowd which was a shame.

Cheers for the reminder! Manged to get standing tickets for London, £85 but worth every penny as there won't be many opportunities left to see them as they, and I get older.

All those people going to Wembley will be a bit upset, seeing as the Band will be on stage at the Olympic Stadium

With trepidation I have purchased two standing tickets for the Etihad stadium. I love ACDC, the old stuff anyway, and having first seen them on the Let There Be Rock tour in '77 in Manchester, then for the next two tours, I thought it time to catch up. The problem is like some rheumy old man I don't want the memories of those brilliant concerts tarnished. I hate big venues (problem 1), I hate the way bands get to big for themselves and get professionally sloppy and over-confident (problem 2), and I hate Brian Johnson because live he is completely unintelligible (problem 3). However...ACDC play the best heavy blues on the planet so I'll take a chance. laugh

I've never seen them live but Brian Johnson sounds fine on their River Plate bluray?

Now admittedly I don't like the track, but I Googled ACDC River Plate and this appeared first. Some lyrics I can make out, but very few if I'm honest. It just sounds like a Geordie wailing with a mouth full of coal.
