In the Daft Punk song, which of his albums is he referring to?

I'd always thought it was his story of how he invented electronic music "vy don't eye yoos dee seenthesizer" etc, rather than a story of one specific album. First he needed a click.

just prior to that he says "In the beginning, I wanted to do an album with the sounds of the 50s, the sounds of the 60s, of the 70s, and then have a sound of the future."

Just seen an interview of Giorgio Moroder on Sky Arts 1 and remembered this question. It isn't "his" album as such, which is why it's not straightforward to work out. The album is Donna Summer's "I remember yesterday" from 1977 and produced by him. The sound of the future is the track "I feel love".

Sorry the answer took 6 months...
