Extrapolation a gift then, along with exaggeration and self importance (not like you at all!)

What kicking the man? A lighthearted mocking of your vastly overblown opinion of his poetic ability and his lyrical craft, rather than kicking him when he's down. Do you think he reads posts here a lot?

Who's miserable now?

I love a good 'I've got more posts than you' hint.

Back on topic- it is a bit odd he only let's the cancer thing out of the bag when releasing a book.

Not that he'd ever use it to turn a quick buck...

You do realise his book was released in October 2013? This is the third time that canard has emerged in two pages now.

Have you actually read the link??:

"My novel is coming along well, but it would be presumptuous of me to talk about something that is not finalised yet. It will probably be published next year and with luck I will be able to stop singing forever, which would make many people happy!"

I didn't read the link, no.

I asked which book was being released as I wasn't aware he was releasing one.
You have informed me that he says he is writing a novel, as yet unfinished and that it will be probably be released next year - so, thanks for the information.

Hope he can win the fight - not a big fan of his leftie stance though I do love a lot of his music ... And to think he was worried about a double decker bus!

He's been a big part of my life, both in The Smiths and his solo career, but I'm also not averse to thinking he doesn't half spout some prime bks from time to time.

I was (look at me!) in the crowd at Coachella when he flounced off stage early because of "the smell of death" ... some burger vans to the right of stage rolleyes

Am seeing him at the O2 on 29/11, hopefully not for the last time.

So what? He'll be treated under the NHS just as anyone else would.

Seconded, 'cos maybe if he cheered up, he wouldn't be such an odious tt.
