Got tickets for Nothing But Thieves... really enjoyed the last gig after getting dragged along to it. Not my usual thing TBH, but hard to beat live music.

Getting my stuff packed for Bloodstock biggrin Getting there this afternoon to complete the set-up and soundcheck on the New Blood Stage ready for Friday.

I know there are a few people on here going, feel free to come say hi to the drum tech - I'll be the hairy one, not the baldy one smile

Band name please? :P I'll be watching Mortishead on that stage same day too. I'll be playing the Jager stage Sunday with Endeavour.

I'll be about at Bloodstock, I'm not very hairy (or tattooed) so you should recognise me quite easily wink

Hopefully make it to New Blood stage at some point. Hope you both enjoy it, can't wait for Death DTA.

I've tried to get the slaves but just don't get what the fuss is about?

Got Hevy fest next weekend
Sikth in December

Might go and see Teenage Bottlerocket, OPM and Wheatus when they each play Swansea. Umming and Ahhing over Slayer/Anthrax in Newport.

Also Joe Satriani with my Dad is on the cards as well as Steve Hackett.

We Are The Ocean I might try and see in Cardiff as well as Skindred. Somewhere along the way there's Periphery and The Darkness too.

Just need to find the money now!

No band - I was drum tech with Ammo's crew. Mortishead were cool, in fact all the bands were amazing, even We Are The Catalyst who dropped a rack mounted sampler on my head, busting my ear open and giving me a concussion for the rest of Friday smile

Great weekend but shattered today. 39 bands over 3 days with a maximum 15 minute turn around but a great crew makes it all happen smoothly.

Ah I see. Yep I watched Mortishead too, always a good watch. Really good weekend and I couldn't believe how lucky we were with the weather!

I like the new we are the ocean CD,they've really stretched there sound much like queens of the stone age last album.

It's a good album that's for sure.

Hevy fest was awesome. I HIGHLY recommend checking out Black Peaks and Monuments.

First night of a trip over to the continent, and just back from swing Dropkicks Murphys in Luxembourg.

Hadn't seen them for a few years, but still a top notch live band and it was good to see them somewhere other than the usual London venues.

Watching a band abroad is great. We saw Steel Panther in New York and loved it.

I almost went to Queensryche in Amsterdam two weeks ago but it was €45 a ticket.

Well I saw them live on BBC at Glastonbury and I thought the energy combined with a bit of unpolished rawness was good.

They remind me of sex pistols/the clash.

Reading festival, first festival for me.

Massively needed to see metallica, excellent line up to go with, limp bizkit and deadmau5!

Rancid!

I've seen Metallica at Leeds ('08, I think) and Glasto last year - excellent on both occasions.
