I'm seeing Priest late Nov, last time was 35 years ago.

The support is M. Schenker, who I last saw playing for UFO and then The Scorpions: Kept missing him over the years. TBH I'd rather see Schenker.

I saw Judas Priest and also Schenker at High Voltage festival in 2011 (I think that was the year) both were great.

Coheed and Cambria have announced a handful of UK dates and one is in Cardiff. Tickets are £27.50 though, don't know who they think they are charging that much.

Speaking of support I've got tickets for Whitesnake/Leppard. DL I'm not fussed about, but other support is provided by Black Star Riders, who have produced some quite good music recently IMO.

Richard Hawley in Leeds on Sunday, Reverend and the Makers, once again in Leeds in a couple of weeks. Would have liked to have seen Nils Lofgren in Harrogate next week, but can't make it.

Decent gig, although a bit quieter than I'm used to!

The boy can sing - took the engineer a few songs to dial in properly.

It's at the lighter end of my listening spectrum, but good crowd and pretty laid back. No encore was a bit of a shame, but 70 mins of music for £12 isn't bad.

Went down cornwall yesterday to see young guns/boy jumps ship at the watering hole in perranporth.

Shambolic but ended up being a awesome night.

The venue is a pub actually on the beach, 630 and none of the bands had sound checked and the pub was still full of ordinary pub goers, it was probably 8 before the stage was set up and they sound checked!

Main band didn't come on to 11 (so thank fk for the no noise curfews down cornwall) and the crowd were up for it.

Tonight , eagles of death metal.

Have a feeling it's either going to be great fun or they'll be pretty boring after 30 mins.

last weekend in Manchester I watched Peter Hook and The Light who did both Joy Division albums live. A very good night Peter warmed up with a few New Order songs. I have already booked again to see him next year doing his Substance tour which is both New Order and Joy Division.

Hoping to get Stone Roses tickets now for next year.
