Decided to see a few Folk singers / bands this year . It's great going to small venues etc, and seeing groups up close, some great stuff out there. I'm not going to pay extortionate ticketmaster prices any more...
One place I had to print off a booking form & send them a cheque!

Seen Joe Bonamassa three times, always small(ish) venues. His shows are all about intimacy and atmosphere. Can't see how that'll translate to a big arena. Like numerous others who've tried the transition to larger venues 'to please fans', it's really all about the money.

Be my 4th time for JB ,Newcastle city hall ,Edinburgh playhouse and Newcastle arena so I know where your coming from ,saw the Eagles at Leeds arena last year and thought it was pretty good as far as larger venues go hate the Newcastle arena ,it's a sthole with very poor acoustics imho, would love to see JB at the Sage in Gateshead its a great place ,but tickets would be expensive as its on the small side .

Finally sorted something out after missing out on Royal Blood tickets. A bit of a nostalgia gig for me, Hoobastank, POD and Alien Ant Farm. Should be fun!

Hoping Walter Trout is gonna be able to play UK dates this year too.
