The Who? Oh fk why can't these dinosaurs bugger off and retire! One of the most overrated bands of all time IMHO.

Ah well, I quite like it when the final headliner is not for me (reckon Eavis chose this one or others let her down) as I can be watching someone else and avoiding the worst crowd of the weekend.

Never understood the allure. They don't play Rock, they don't play Pop...it's some bd son of Mod rubbish. Oooh look they used to break things on stage FFS. Don't get me started on Weller. Another nail... .

Yeah he did, but he's just come off another tour of UK/Europe in March/April where apart from Watford, when he played Malice as an encore, he only played solo stuff.

Setlist from Halifax http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/paul-weller/2015/vic...
Fair enough - think there'd be some disappointed people if he played that at Glasto but we will have to wait and see!

Camping in Wales this weekend to check that our tent is still waterproof..

Just got my coach ticket through. Leaving at 6am from Reading Services west at 6am! Not quite sure how I'm going to get there and back. On step closer though smile

I've borrowed a campervan, my son and I stay with a friend in Avebury on the Wednesday, arriving on site the following day. You'll probably find me wandering round the lesser stages. Not much to interest me on the main ones.

As always some annoying clashes but it's to be expected, especially late into the evening.

Chemical Brothers vs The Who is the worst for me I think

I'm pretty chuffed with that - the only really bad clash that I've spotted so far for me is Lionel Richie vs a not particularly well known band playing the Avalon Stage called Bear's Den (chilled out folk banjo types, properly brilliant the two times I've seen them perform).

Not long to go now!

My ticket arrived today! smile

Over the next couple of weeks, I'm going to do a bit of homework and hopefully fill a few gaps with bands that I'm not familiar with.

Let's just pray to the rain gods..

Wow! Just read the line-up and timings. It's huge! No doubt they'll be clashes but what the hell.

Leaving Weds at 03.00 to arrive in plenty of time for preferred camping area (from mates who've been previously)

I'm on the very same bus with a group of mates. Agree, a proper pain in the arse compared to the Madejski Stadium park and ride as used previously.

There's a chance it may change according to see when I emailed them to find out if we would be leaving from the westbound and returning to the eastbound.

My wife will drive me there on wednesday but no idea how I'll get back. I assume we can walk out the back and pick up a bus from outside the golf course.

eh? He is second from top behind Kanye (a much bigger music star), having one big song "happy" doesn't make you a headliner, most of his influence is as a producer IMO

Below Florence though.

Much more than just one song - Happy, Get Lucky, Good Girl, all the great stuff he did with NERD.

not knocking the guy, I like him

get lucky is daft punk in my book
exactly same billing as Florence but PH plays day after (some might consider that higher on bill, personally I don't consider days are preferable to another, apart from closing Sunday night)
Florence shifted 2, soon to be 3, platinum albums so much bigger act in UK at least

Even less than usually that i want to see this year.
Friday night will be spend at Pyramid, no doubt. Foos, Florence and Motorhead.
Sunday will be John Peel for Franz Ferdinand and Saturday will either be John Peel for La Roux or Enter Shikari on the Left field.
But as per every year i will probably end up smashed at the burrow hill bus.

Cant wait!
