Any takers? Listening to a <cough> evaluation copy and this is a definite buy.

Can't wait for it!
I'm going to the gig at wolves on mar18 and I'm saving the album to see it live first. Getting the bluray for full sound quality. I noticed the documovie about the woman it's based on is available on 4od so might check that out too.

Just bought it now, and halfway through my first listen.

heard a bit of cinema show in one of the tracks smile

All in all, it seems pretty good, but not a patch on the raven, which is an album I discovered last week and i utterly adore.

Seeing him live next week in London. The live shows are impressive.

I like him when he isn't going for the pastiche 70's prog jazz twiddly excess... so I quite like this one so far. Still a bit of that but less than on Raven!

The opener is very Boards of Canada... would like to see him doing more ambient/soundtrack type stuff.

This is a good album based on a couple of listens. Suspect it may be a grower as well.

I think the album is fantastic. Like much sophisticated music, it grows with several listens. At the moment, I prefer it to The Raven...

Live in Cambridge last night was superb. Everything was so good - the music, the sound, the films and individually each of the musicians.

Saw the band in Cardiff last night!

I'm not very familiar with his stuff since Insurgents, but will be catching up after last night! Still looking forward to some more Porcupine Tree if he ever gets round to it...

One month on.

This is a very good album indeed.

I still prefer the mellotron washed prog pastiche that is the raven though smile

Yeah I had Hand Cannot Erase on repeat up until the weekend.... then I saw Devin Townsend on Monday night at the Royal Albert Hall and I'm hooked on his music again.

I must have listened to Ocean Machine about 4 times today already...

Not familiar with his music, but can confirm his drummer Marco Minnemann is an absolute monster player, for those that care!

Stunning album. A departure from The Raven.. but a reminds me of the Incident in more than a couple of places. Just buy it, it's a marvel!

Thought I'd give this a bump in case anybody has £10 spare and they're looking for something to spend it on

The guy is a genius , if you like prog you won't be disappointed , I've had it on a loop for a week in the car
