Any Bryan Ferry fans on here?

The first incarnation of Roxy Music was such a mixed sound, it's both retro and futuristic - and therefore strangely timeless music, IMHO. 'For Your Pleasure' (with iconic album cover featuring Amanda Lear - I have a glass copy of the cover on my wall at home) is a cracking album - especially for 1972. As for Bryan Ferry, who else could have written a song about a blow-up doll and made it sound so decadently diseased, sexy, tarnished and erotic at the same time (In Every Dream Home A Heartache)?

Of the Ferry albums between the two Roxy Music collaborations, I thought 'In Your Mind' was the best - 70's sleaze at it's best, and I don't think he's done much as a solo artist to match it.
Second incarnation of Roxy was a very different beast to the original - polished, still slightly decadent (great video for 'The Main Thing' featuring Paris erotic dancers) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ib4-Lyxxyw0 , and still some great lyrics to show Ferry still had a great eye - "Until tonight, And you pass by, Hand in hand with another guy, You're dressed to kill, and guess who's dying?"
Boys And Girls I think, remains his best post-Roxy album - and largely (with the exception of the brilliant 1930's themed 'As Time Goes By') it seems he's been recreating this album ever since.
I'm still a fan, but wouldn't rush to buy his latest releases.
On another note, I saw him in concert at Sheffield City Hall a few years ago, just after 'As Time Goes By' was released. He was really chatty with the audience, and it was a great gig. At some point he was sat playing some solo stuff on the piano and in-between songs someone shouted out "Can you do 'Editions Of You'?" He cracked up laughing and replied "I would if I could remember how to play it!"
We met him briefly after the gig (he's blooming tall!) and Mrs.T66 managed to kiss him. She shrieked with delight as she left the room, shouting "I've just had a kiss off Bryan Ferry!" He stared in shock and said "It's been a bloody long time since I've had that effect on a lady!"
I read in an interview that he thinks people always get the wrong impression of him, thinking he's some kind of English Gent - he's much more into 50's Americana and sleaze, and clearly likes his 'bad' girls rather than tea-sipping English 'ladies' (first wife was a notorious party girl, I believe).
Seems a great chap (despite the fox-hunting malarkey) and a bit of a legend, IMO.
